First Days in Laos: Nong Khiaw

A few days in and we're already in love with Laos. It feels completely different from anywhere we've been. Calm, green, and wildly beautiful. We'd been looking forward to this for so long, and it's everything we hoped for. Nong Khiaw was our first stop, a small village in the north where we camped deep in the jungle, surrounded by nothing but nature. Pure, simple living. We also took a boat along the Nam Ou River to Muang Ngoy and hiked up through the jungle for a view over the valley. Laos, what a place!
