PALACE

The Chehel Sotoun Palace is a stunning 17th-century pavilion located in the heart of Esfahan. The name Chehel Sotoun translates to Palace of Forty Columns, referring to the twenty wooden columns of its grand porch, which, when reflected in the waters of the palace’s pool, appear to double, creating the illusion of forty.
